ABOUT BREAKTHROUGHS

WHY BREAKTHROUGHS?
Connecting the Dots Across Healthcare’s Broad Continuum
Secure your spot in the community that is collectively transforming patient care. From artificial intelligence to supply chain innovations and labor optimization, Breakthroughs 23 is at the intersection of technology, efficiency and, most importantly, patient care. Join us as we fuse these different elements into a cohesive alliance.
Several market dynamics are contributing to a restructuring of the current system of care –policy changes, innovations in virtual care and the imperative to control healthcare costs. We know care will continue to be delivered outside of the four walls of the hospital. For so long, Premier has bifurcated its Acute and Non-acute businesses, both providers and suppliers, to best serve their unique needs.
Speakers
Breakthroughs 23 features a lineup of renowned keynote speakers who will inspire and challenge us to build a better tomorrow. You’ll engage with voices from multiple fields and disciplines – each one adding value and excellence to our healthcare community.

Health and Safety
At Breakthroughs 23, you can expect a safe and respectful environment following the latest COVID-19 protocols and on-site workplace health requirements. Premier will adhere to all CDC guidelines and local mandates at the time of the event. Additionally, the following measures have been implemented for Breakthroughs 23:
Safety Measures
- Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test may be required for Breakthroughs 23 Conference attendance. What this means:
- For proof of vaccination: A CDC-issued vaccination card or legible photo of the same reflecting either one dose of Johnson & Johnson or two doses of the Moderna/Pfizer vaccine. Presenting this card (or photo of the same) may be required during conference on-site registration.
- For proof of testing: Must present a hard copy or PDF of report showing results of a negative antigen test performed by a third party (e.g., doctor, pharmacy, testing facility) within 48 hours prior to the event. At-home test results will not be accepted.
- Supplier attendees/staff should comply with the guidance above. If proof of vaccination/testing is not feasible for those setting up booths, supplier attendees/staff should wear masks and complete set up on the event space before 5 p.m. CT on June 20, 2023.
- Sanitization stations and masks will be provided for attendees in high-traffic areas.
- Masks are optional for attendees who wish to wear them.
- We will offer modifications to event settings that help mitigate risks, including increased spacing, access to outdoor areas, additional and socially distanced seating, and other accommodations.
