BRK23 Continuing Education Sessions (CE Sessions)

Did you know that you can further your individual educational needs and support ongoing licensure requirements while at Breakthroughs? Continuing education sessions highlight success stories and industry best practices that qualify to provide professional continuing education credit. These sessions help support Premier members’ educational needs and creates a mechanism to further the licensure status of individual members.

This year, our CE Sessions are grouped into themes that align within these hot topics in healthcare:

Healthcare Digitalization

Healthcare is on the cusp of a digital revolution. From Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and natural language processing, to virtual reality and 3D printing, the practice of medicine is moving toward greater tech-enablement. These sessions will focus on how providers and others can use data and technology to deliver better, smarter, high-value care.

Health Equity

Healthcare outcomes can be uneven across zip codes, genders, income levels and race. These sessions will feature leaders who are working to keep all communities healthy using new business models, payment incentives, datasets and technologies to close the gaps in healthcare.

Healthcare 2040/Leadership

These sessions will provide a futurist perspective on the long-term vision for healthcare innovation, looking nearly 20 years ahead and providing a roadmap for remaining ahead of the curve.

Labor Optimization

A key theme of the Breakthroughs 2023 conference will be best practices and strategies that can be deployed to make the most of scarce labor resources and build a sustainable talent pipeline for the future.

Supply Chain Resiliency

The pandemic exposed a variety of weaknesses in today’s supply chain. These sessions will highlight strategies that providers, payers and supplier partners can take to build transparency and predictability into today’s systems in order to prevent shortages and barriers to effective patient care.

Movement to Value

Consumers, employers and policymakers are all looking for partners across healthcare to demonstrate greater value for delivered care. These sessions will focus on the latest trends being deployed that demonstrate health benefit returns for invested dollars.
